TERMS & CONDITIONS
It is important that you read the following booking conditions carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. Together with our pricing information and any specific information relating to special offers or late booking offers, they form the basis of your contract with »PNT d.o.o., travel agency«, further addressed as »Ski Julian Alps«.
»Ski Julian Alps« Ski specialist is a brand name of »PNT d.o.o.« a local tour operator company, registered in the Republic of Slovenia since 1992.
PNT company, travel agency license is issued by »Chambre of commerce and industry of Slovenia« as an official license for travel agency&tour operating:
No.1968- official license for organizing day trips, travel packages, and other tour packages. No.1969- official license for selling day trips, travel packages, and other tour packages.

These instructions and terms and conditions of booking are an integral part of the Contract, i.e. voucher concluded between PNT d.o.o.(=Ski Julian Alps travel agency) and customers which book via Ski Julian Alps.
In these booking conditions, »you« means all persons named on the booking (including anyone added or substituted at a later date). »Ski Julian Alps« means »us«, that is PNT d.o.o travel agency.
We arrange bookings of properties as agents of the owners of such properties, with whom you will have a contract and sports activities, sports programmes, equipment hire where Ski Julian Alps is the organizer or appears as an agent.
Bookings and contracting: »Making your booking«
A customer may book through SKI JULIAN ALPS website, Email or with other authorized agents.
The first person named on your booking form is the “Lead Name”, who must be at least 18 years old. The lead must be authorized to make the booking on the basis of these booking conditions by all the persons named in the booking. By making the booking, the Lead Name confirms that he/she is so authorized and the persons named on the booking agree to be subject to these booking conditions. The lead name is responsible for making all payments to us; any payment made by another person named on the booking shall be treated as if made by the Lead Name.
Once we have received your full inquiry, the final offer, giving details of the property, activities and other booking information will be transmitted to the Lead Name by e-mail no later than 72 hours after having received your details.
By payment of a reservation fee, signing a contract, a voucher or a booking form, i.e. offline payment when purchasing the services by means of remote communication, the customer completely accepts these Terms and Conditions, which he/she has previously carefully studied.
In order to confirm your booking, and for the purpose of reserving the selected service, you pay an initial deposit: 30% of the price of the package sum total per person/group.
The balance of the holiday cost/package sum (including any surcharges if where applicable) must be received by us no less than 28 days prior to your arrival date (unless stated otherwise in the pro-forma invoice).
This date and the amounts due are shown on your pro-forma invoice. While we do send out reminders this may not necessarily reach you and we regret we cannot accept any liability if you do not receive a reminder. If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your holiday as canceled by you. In this case, the cancellation charges shown under “If You Cancel Your Holiday” will be payable.
We will charge you in € (Euros).
When the full package is pre-paid, you are going to receive a final Voucher confirming all pre-paid services and reservations as stated in the final offer (confirmation statement).
PACKAGE PRICE & CONTENTS
Your package content and price has been sent to you in the final offer, as well as the agreed services. The final offer to you is also a confirmation statement of your selected services and is a part of our contract with you.
The package price does not include (unless agreed otherwise):
1. Optional (not-obligatory/additional) excursions and visits,
2. Costs of obtaining and issuing visas, if any,
3. Food & drinks and other extra services.
4. Travel insurance.
All types of special services (special diet, etc.) shall be paid by the customer himself/herself and must be ordered by him/her during booking. If a customer asks for a special service during the tour, he/she shall pay for it directly to the guide or the Agency representative, in the currency of the respective country.
Right to the price increase and right to cancellation due to the price increase
Prices of all tours are in € (Euros). SKI JULIAN ALPS may ask for an increase of the contracted price in case the following occurred after the contract was concluded:
1. a change of the exchange rate in relation to the program publication date,
2. a change in the transport costs (fuel, road toll, etc.),
3. a change in hotels’ or carriers’ fees.
SKI JULIAN ALPS can inform customers of the change in writing or verbally. A customer may cancel the tour free of charge in case a price change exceeding 10% in relation to the contracted one occurs, at the latest within 48 hours after the receipt of the written notice. If the customer fails to cancel the tour within the stated term either by a personal visit to a Ski Julian Alps office or in writing, it shall be deemed that he/she agrees to the changed price. The published prices are the result of the Ski Julian Alps’s contract with partners and they may not correspond to the prices stated on the spot, at the destination in which the customer is staying.
Children discounts and other benefits
Please pay attention to children discounts, as well as to other benefits which are set apart in the description of a package.
All travel documents shall be sent to you at the latest 7 days before the departure on tour unless mentioned otherwise in the program.
Categorisation and description of services
The accommodation facilities offered in SKI JULIAN ALPS’s programs are described according to the official categorization of the respective country valid at the moment of the publication of the program.
Nourishment, modern conveniences, as well as other services offered by hotels/apartments are supervised by local tourist boards, while the standards of accommodation and services differ and are not comparable.
SKI JULIAN ALPS shall not be responsible for any verbal or written information differing from the description of services and facilities in the published programs which were obtained from a third party.
Accommodation in rooms/apartments
The rooms/apartments shall be distributed by the reception desk staff at the place of staying. Unless a customer has explicitly contracted a room/apartment with particular features, he/she shall accept any officially registered accommodation unit for rent in the specific facility described in the catalog and the price list.
Accommodation in a room/apartment is usually not possible before 12.00 p.m. on the service start date, and the customers must usually leave the rooms/apartments until 10.00 a.m. on the service end date (unless agreed otherwise in the confirmation statement).
Arrivals after 8.00 p.m. must be advised in advance unless indicated differently. The price includes linen, cutlery, gas, water, and electricity, air-condition. Final cleaning is included unless stated differently.
If a customer cancels a booking, Ski Julian Alps shall keep the following amounts from the full package price:
Up to 36 days prior to the departure, 10% of the package price & booking fee.
– 35 to 22 days prior to the departure, 25% of the package price
– 21 to 15 days prior to the departure, 40% of the package price
– 14 to 8 days prior to the departure; 80% of the package price
– 7 days prior to the departure and after the tour start date, 100% of the package price.
The stated costs of cancellation shall also apply on changes of the departure date or the type of accommodation facility, i.e. the type of the room/apartment, as well as on other major changes. An eventual different scale from the stated one is included in a specific program to which it refers.
If a customer who cancels the tour finds a new user of the same booking, Ski Julian Alps shall charge only the costs caused by the replacement, that is the cost of the additional booking fee.
Booking fee adds 25 Euro to the amount of individual package sum and 50 Euro to the amount of group package sum.
If a customer cancels the tour or shortens the travel due to bad weather conditions, Ski Julian Alps shall apply the above-mentioned scale and subsequent complaints shall not be acknowledged.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE ADEQUATE INSURANCE COVER FOR YOUR ARRANGEMENTS/SPORT ACTIVITIES WITH US AND WE CAN ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU FAIL TO TAKE OUT ADEQUATE INSURANCE IN RELATION TO THESE HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS.
You MUST provide us with details of your insurance cover (insurers and policy numbers) in case we need to contact them on your behalf. We regret that we can accept no responsibility whatsoever if you fail to provide these details.
The cover would typically include (but not be limited to) medical cancellations, delays, lost luggage, accidents, medical emergencies, theft, accidental loss, sporting accidents & injuries, etc. Any payments to us should be covered under the cancellation clauses of your travel insurance depending on the date you actually take insurance. Please read all the terms and conditions carefully.
Customers are obliged to write down a complaint in the book of complaints directly with the service provider, which will endeavor to provide the agreed service, i.e. correct mistakes. If there is no improvement even after the complaint, the customer should ask for a certificate from which it is evident that the service has not been provided, i.e. that it has not been provided in a stipulated way. The customer is to enclose the certificate to his/her written complaint to SKI JULIAN ALPS. The customer is to make a written complaint at the latest 2 months after the end of the travel.
If the customer makes a written complaint after the expiry of that term, Ski Julian Alps is not obliged to take such a complaint into consideration. For resolving of complaints on services abroad, it is obligatory to comply with the rule of reporting the complaint with issuing of the certificate on the very spot and the deadline for submitting of the complaint.
SKI JULIAN ALPS is obliged to make a written decision regarding the complaint within 14 days after the receipt of the complaint, and it can postpone the term for making the decision about the complaint by another 14 days on account of collecting the information. SKI JULIAN ALPS shall resolve only such complaints which could not have been eliminated at the very place of the stay.
While the procedure of resolving is underway, but 14, i.e. 28 days after the lodging of the complaint at the most, the customer waives the right of mediation by any other person or institution, as well as providing information to the media. During the same period of time, the customer also waives the right to a suit.
The maximum amount of compensation per complaint may reach the amount of the advertised part of services, but it may not include the services already used, or the entire package amount.
The customer and Ski Julian Alps will endeavor to resolve disputes in mutual agreement, and, on the contrary, they stipulate the competence of the court in Ljubljana. The competent law will be the Slovenian law.
SKI JULIAN ALPS’s obligations
SKI JULIAN ALPS is obliged to take care about providing of services, as well as about the choice of service providers with the care of a good businessman and to take care about the customers’ rights and interests in compliance with good practices in tourism.
SKI JULIAN ALPS is obliged to provide to the customer all the contracted services for a particular package, and to provide answers in case of eventual failure to perform services or a part of services.
SKI JULIAN ALPS shall fulfill all the mentioned obligations from its programs completely and as described, except in the event of Force Majeure or changed circumstances. In such cases, SKI JULIAN ALPS shall offer a substitute solution if that is possible. SKI JULIAN ALPS is not obliged to provide services beyond these Terms and Conditions.
The customer is obliged to take care that he/she personally meets the conditions anticipated by the regulations of the country through which or to which he/she travels, and to observe the house rules in the hotel and other facilities, as well as to cooperate with the representative of the organizer and with service providers.
The customer shall be personally responsible for any damage he/she causes, particularly for the damage arisen as the consequence of failure to observe the contract and these General Terms and Conditions. The customer shall cover the damage he/she caused immediately at the hotel reception desk and at another place stipulated by the physical or legal person to which he/she caused the damage.
These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Contract that a customer concludes with SKI JULIAN ALPS, i.e. an authorized travel agency in which he/she booked a travel organized by SKI JULIAN ALPS. Possible/anticipated deviations from these Conditions must be stated with the text of the tour program. By booking, the customer fully accepts the program and the conditions of the travel.
