Why one pass

Instead of a single valley you get the whole region — from Kranjska Gora to Sappada.

  • 260 km of groomed slopes

Between 550 and 2293 m above sea level, served by more than 140 lifts.

  • Ski safari, properly

Transfers between resorts are short, so you ski more of them in a week than most people manage in a season.

  • 100 skiing days

Guaranteed between 1 December and 1 May across the whole pass area.

  • Stay where you like

Spend the night wherever suits you: in Bled, Kranjska Gora, Tarvisio or Villach. The pass is valid at every resort, wherever you sleep.

  • Freeride and ski touring

World-class terrain without the crowds of the big alpine resorts.

  • Made for families

Short queues, calm slopes and a price list that does not punish a larger group.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything to know before you buy — from how the card reaches you to the rules on Italian slopes.

Buying & delivery

Where can I buy the pass?

In the official Julijske Alpe online shop. Choose the duration, age group and your first day on the slopes.

Can I also buy the pass at a resort?

Yes, for now also at Cerkno, Kranjska Gora, 3Ländereck and Kope. The other resorts will follow later.

How far in advance do I need to buy?

At least 8 days before your first ski day, because the card is sent by post. Passes are sold for the current season only.

How do I get the card?

By post, to the address you enter when buying. To use a different address, email it to booking@skijulianalps.com right after your purchase. The confirmation email is not a ski pass — bring the card with you.

How can I pay?

By Visa or Mastercard credit card.

What if the card doesn't arrive in time?

Email booking@skijulianalps.com straight away. Under the terms and conditions the issuer isn't liable for postal delays, so buy as early as you can — at least 8 days before you travel.

Can I buy the pass together with accommodation?

Yes, from contracted accommodation providers. All seasonal deals — 3 = 4, family weeks and free ski — are available only through them.

Validity

Can I pick non-consecutive days?

No. The pass is valid for 2 to 7 consecutive days, counted from the start date you choose when buying.

Do I have to ski a different resort every day?

No. You decide each day where to ski — one resort all week or somewhere new every day. The map helps you choose.

Is the pass personal?

Yes. The pass is personal and not transferable.

When can I ski?

Passes are sold for the 2026/27 season. Together, the resorts guarantee 100 skiing days between 1 December and 1 May; each resort sets its own opening date. If there are fewer skiing days, there is no compensation.

What if there's no snow or a resort is closed?

The pass covers 16 resorts between 550 and 2293 m, so you can head wherever conditions are better that day. Under the terms and conditions there are no refunds for bad weather.

Prices & age groups

What are the prices for children and young people?

Children aged 6 to 14.99 have their own rate. Youth aged 15 to 23.99 and visitors over 60 pay a single reduced price. All prices are in the price list.

Which day counts for the age-based price?

The skiing day: your age group is set by your age on that day. The groups are in the price list.

Is a longer pass better value?

Yes — the daily price drops the longer you ski. Adults pay €50.50 per day on a 2-day pass and just €39.57 on a 7-day pass.

What is the card deposit?

The €5 deposit is refunded only for reusable cards issued at hotels, when you return the card. For the paper card sent by post, the deposit is not refunded.

Resorts & planning

Which resorts are included?

16 resorts in three countries: 5 in Slovenia, 7 in Italy and 4 in Austria. All are on the map, with slope length and lift count.

Can I ski at every resort with the card I receive by post?

At 15 resorts, yes. The only exception is Stari vrh: there you exchange it at the ticket office for their own card.

Where is the best place to stay?

Bled is the easiest base — six resorts are less than an hour's drive away. Kranjska Gora sits on the border with Italy and Austria, close to Tarvisio and 3Ländereck.

Where can I check which slopes are open?

Open a resort on the map to see today's conditions: open lifts and slopes and snow, as entered by the resort itself. Check them in the morning before you set off.

Rules & insurance

Do I need insurance?

In Italy every skier must have third-party liability insurance — without it you risk a fine and losing your pass. Check whether your existing policy covers it, or take one out before you go.

Is a helmet mandatory?

In Italy, for all skiers regardless of age. In Slovenia, for children up to and including 14, and in Carinthia (Austria) for children under 15. We recommend one for everyone.

Can I cancel, for example due to illness or injury?

No. Under the terms and conditions purchases cannot be cancelled, so check whether your travel insurance covers cancellation.

What if I lose the card?

Under the terms and conditions the issuer neither replaces nor refunds a lost card, so treat it like cash.
